Mission

Teaching triggers and warning signs of veteran suicide and overdose to veteran families.

Educating Soldiers before leaving service more about veteran suicide prevention.

At D.O.V.E. Family Veteran Association in Lawton, Oklhoma our mission is to teach veteran families how to recognize triggers and warning signs of suicide and overdose. We deliver compassionate, professional education focused on real-world signs, early intervention, and building stronger bridges between veterans and their loved ones.

Through community workshops, peer-led conversations, and practical resource guides, families learn to identify behavioral changes, substance misuse patterns, and environmental stressors that can lead to crisis. Our approach combines evidence-based materials with local partnerships among veterans organizations and health professionals to ensure timely referrals and culturally informed care.
